Typing Test for SSC CGL 2025

SSC CGL typing speed test is a skill test that assesses the candidate’s ability to type in English or Hindi on a computer. The candidates have to type at least 2000 key depressions in 15 minutes. The SSC CGL typing test is conducted on a computer using software provided by the commission. The software has a built-in timer that starts and stops automatically. The candidates have to type in Microsoft Word with font size 12 and font type Times New Roman. The candidates can choose either English or Hindi as their medium of typing. However, they cannot switch between the languages once they start typing. The candidates are not allowed to use any external keyboard, mouse, or any other device.
