Tier 2 English is more important than Tier 1 English. It has 45 questions worth 135 marks (3 marks per question). The negative marking is also higher, 1 mark per wrong answer. You get 1 hour for this section. The difficulty is moderate to great. Reading Comprehension alone can have 12 to 15 questions in Tier 2 — making it the biggest topic in this section.
The topics remain the same as Tier 1, but the words asked are much harder. You need a very strong vocabulary to solve these.
You will face long sentences with hidden mistakes. You must know your basic grammar rules very clearly.
