Md Arslan Bari’s Introduction

My name is Md Arslan Bari and today I am here to share my journey with you as how I have cleared IBPS RRB Clerk examination. Reading and practicing mock tests have been my prime goals with the help of which I have achieved this goal of mine. Attempting a mock test is very important and analyzing it for your weak and strong areas is yet another important task that no one should miss. Hi, I am Md Arslan Bari and I started my banking exam preparation journey in February 2023. Before this I was preparing for State PCS exam. I attempted several exams and finally cleared this one.

• IBPS RRB PO – Cleared Prelims
• IBPS RRB OA – Cleared Mains
• IBPS CLERK- Cleared Prelims

Subject-Wise Preparation Strategy

English Section Preparation:

In order to prepare for the english section I have read alot and gave several mock tests. Aspirants usually find english section a tough nut to crack, but PM’s english vocabulary articles will help you through in making your vocabulary strong. Apart from this they have free english topic wise quizzes that you can attempt for free.

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation: 

The very basic and the first step that I took towards quant section preparation is that I tried to clear all my concepts through various Youtube channels. Later, I practiced mocks.

Reasoning Section Preparation:

Just like I prepared for the quant section, followed the same pattern for the reasoning section. I cleared my concepts through Youtube and then practiced a lot of mocks. PM also provides quant and reasoning topic wise quizzes.

General Awareness Section Preparation: 

As far as preparation for GA is concerned, I followed these channels:

• Daily CA from YouTube
• Monthly CA from YouTube
• Practicemock Weekly CA PDFs

Overall Strategy & Challenges Faced

If I talk abou my overall strategy then I used to study for maximum 4 hours on a daily basis. This was my initial goal, however as the prelims exam approached, I started attempting 2 mocks daily. After my prelims got over I started giving 2 mains mock in one week along with CA quiz from Practicemock.

Challenges are a part of everyone’s journey. When I started preparing my scores in mocks were as low as 27, but then gradually I worked hard clearing my concepts which ultimately led me to clear my first exam in the very first attempt.
