SBI PO 2025 Mains Exam Pattern

The SBI PO Mains 2025 Exam has two parts – an Objective Test and a Descriptive Test. The Objective Test covers four sections: Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General Awareness, and English Language. It carries 200 marks, with sectional timings and cut-offs, and must be completed in 3 hours.

The Descriptive Test is 30 minutes long and carries 50 marks. It includes Email Writing (1 out of 2), Report Writing (1 out of 2), and either Precis Writing or Situation Analysis (choose 1 out of 2). This section checks your professional writing, analytical, and decision-making skills.

Negative marking applies in the Objective Test, with 1/4th marks deducted for each wrong answer.

  • Partnership → (Investment × Time) ratio gives share of profit.
  • Average = Sum of observations ÷ Number of observations.
  • Alligation Rule → (High – Mean) : (Mean – Low).
  • Mixture % = (Quantity of solute ÷ Total mixture) × 100.
  • Simple Interest Difference (for 2 years) = Principal × (Rate²) ÷ 100².

Percentage & Ratio

  • % Change = [(New – Old) ÷ Old] × 100.
  • If A : B = m : n, then A’s share = (m / (m+n)) × Total.
  • Successive % Change = x + y + (xy/100).

Last Day Tips for SBI PO Mains 2025

Tomorrow is the big day, SBI PO Mains 2025. After months of hard work, practice, and sacrifices, the moment has finally come to prove yourself. At this stage, don’t panic. Instead, trust your preparation and focus on keeping your mind calm and sharp.

First, revise all your important formulas and short tricks for Quant. Go through Arithmetic, DI, and Percentage/Ratio basics once more. Don’t touch new topics nowstick only to what you already know well. Second, strengthen your strong areas.
