45-Days SBI Clerk Study Plan 2025

If you are serious about clearing the SBI Clerk exam this year, this 45-day study plan is perfect for you. It is made to help you cover the full syllabus step-by-step, starting from the basics and going up to mock tests. If you follow it properly, you can complete your preparation before the Prelims exam and feel confident.

If you haven’t started yet, don’t worry or feel low. Start by checking the previous year’s papers to understand what kind of questions are asked. Then give one mock test to see where you are weak. Begin your preparation from those topics and improve step by step.

Students should make the most of their time. If you’re a full-time student, try to study 7–8 hours daily. Otherwise, it will be difficult for you to clear the exam. If you’re a working professional, manage your time smartly, study 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the evening. You can also use your lunch break for quick revision or reading. You still have enough time to prepare well and crack the exam.

Week 1

As a student preparing for the SBI Clerk Prelims, start your preparation with the Most scoring topics like Number Series, Simplification, fill in the blanks, and Direction-Sense. As these questions hold high weightage. Pick any two subjects each day and study them for 1 hour each. After studying, spend 1 hour solving topic-wise quizzes to test your understanding.

At the end of every week, give one full-length mock test to check your progress and improve your time management. After the mock, analyze all your mistakes carefully and write down the important concepts and errors in a revision notebook. This habit will help you track your weak areas and boost your score.

Week 2

In the next week of your SBI Clerk preparation, focus on key topics like Profit & Loss, Cloze Test, Blood Relation, Inequality, and Para Jumbles. Practice puzzles daily, beginning with simpler ones like linear and floor-based arrangements. You can use a timer while solving questions to improve both speed and accuracy.

This habit is important for managing time during the actual exam. By the end of the week, give at least 2 full-length mock tests. Don’t just attempt to analyze each question carefully to understand your mistakes and note important shortcuts or rules in your revision notebook.

Week 3

This week, focus on important topics like Time & Work, Quadratic Equations, Fill in the Blanks, and Coding-Decoding. Try to increase the difficulty level of puzzles and include types like Circular Arrangement, Box-based, and Month-based puzzles.

At the same time, revise grammar rules and build your vocabulary through daily practice. Make sure to attempt at least 3 full-length mock tests on alternate days and analyze your performance thoroughly. Try to solve 50+ questions from each section, Quant, Reasoning, and English, daily.

Week 4

In this week’s preparation, focus on topics like Ratio, Simple & Compound Interest, Sentence Correction, Syllogism, and Data Interpretation. These are commonly asked in the SBI Clerk Prelims. Practice two sectional mocks daily, one from English and one from either Reasoning or Quant. Speed up your prep as much as you can.

Spend time revising important formulas, vocabulary, and shortcut tricks to save time during the actual exam. Try to attempt 30–40 questions from mixed topics every day. Most importantly, work to improve your accuracy. Try to reach at least 90% accuracy in your practice sets, as this will help you score better with fewer negative marks.

Week 5

Now is the time to shift your focus toward mixed-topic quizzes and previous year questions.Start solving full-length mock tests every alternate day and spend time reviewing all your errors after each one. Note down the tricky or confusing questions and revise them regularly.

Give more time to your weak topics to improve them, and quickly revise strong areas to keep them fresh. Focus on solving high-level puzzles, advanced DI sets, and complex grammar-based questions.

Week 6

The last 6 days before the exam are important. Don’t learn anything new, focus only on revision, and mock performance. Attempt one full mock each day, review it completely, and revise only those topics where you’re making consistent mistakes. Sleep well and maintain your health. Your focus matters more than the number of hours.
