Candidates applying for the State Bank of India Junior Associate (Clerk) post must be aware of the correct format for the documents they need to upload. If you are applying for the first time, then you should be extra aware of these formalities. Your application might be rejected if you take the guidelines provided in the official notification lightly. In most of the banking exams, including the RBI, you are asked to upload a handwritten declaration in proper format. There are a total of four documents that you are asked to upload in the online application form, such as a photograph, a signature, a left-hand thumb impression, and a handwritten declaration. Read on to know what a SBI clerk hand written declaration 2025 declaration is, why it matters, and how to upload it.
A handwritten declaration is a text (what to write is provided to you) written by you on a blank page with a black ink pen, in which you declare that all the information provided by you is correct. This handwritten document should be scanned and uploaded in a proper format as mentioned in the SBI Junior Associates official notification PDF.
The SBI doesn’t want you to change the text ( SBI Clerk Declaration ) here – they have provided you with the exact words to use. Copy the text exactly in your handwriting on a blank page with a black ink pen. Here’s what you need to write:
“I,__________(Name of the candidate), Date of Birth________ , hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left thumb impression is of mine”.
Write “[Your Name]” and “[Date of Birth]” with the full name and date of birth that you’re using on your application.
| Document name | File Size | Format (file type) | Dimension |
| Handwritten Declaration | 50 kb to 100 kb | Jpg/Jpeg | 800*400 pixel or 10cm* 5cm (width*height) |
Do not use editing software; only basic tools for cropping and resizing the image. No signature is required below the handwritten declaration. Below, we have provided a sample image; just write like that in your handwriting on a blank white paper (no line, no pattern, clean page only). Do not alter the text, copy it as it is, just write your name and date of birth. First try on a rough page, then in the second or third try, when you write without any mistakes, upload that copy into your form in the provided format.
The sample SBI clerk declaration format 2025 is given below in this image
Note: Write your name and date of birth in the place of the name and date of birth written in the sample image above.
