Before starting your preparation for the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam, you should get familiar with the exam pattern and syllabus. Tier 2 sections are at most the same as the Tier 1 exam, except computer knowledge test and typing test. It’s a single, long exam with two sessions, both held on the same day. This is the main exam that decides your final merit (rank). It has three sections and a total duration of 2 hours and 15 minutes. SSC has not released any exact dates for the Tier 2 exam, but you can expect the scheduling of this exam in December/ January 2025. You have limited time, so you cannot study randomly. A good plan means regular time for all subjects, especially your weak areas. To score good marks in the exam, it’s important to focus on each section seriously. For that, you need to first build your foundation, but you have already built it during your Tier 1 preparation. Still, you are advised to do it again, but try to finish it in 5-7 days. Also, check for topics that you have not prepared during your Tier 1 exam preparation.
