For the RRB Clerk 2025 exam, the Alphanumeric Series is important in the Reasoning section. You’ll pretty much always see these questions in the Prelims, usually around 3 to 5 of them. The good news is, if you get the spotting patterns and the logic behind these series, you can score well. Basically, it’s all about figuring out the order and relationships in a mix of letters, numbers, and sometimes symbols. You will need to find what comes next, what’s missing, or where something is located in the sequence. Pay close attention, and be quick to figure out the rules for each pattern, and you will do great with this topic. In this blog, you will get to know about the alphanumeric series, its types, and tricks to solve.
An Alphanumeric Series is a line or group of elements that includes letters (A–Z), numbers (0–9), and sometimes symbols (@, #, %, etc.). These are arranged in a certain order or pattern. You have to find that pattern and answer the question.
A 2 C 4 E 6?
In this series, the letters go A, C, E (skipping 1 letter), and the numbers go 2, 4, 6 (adding 2). So the answer is G 8.
