1. Technical Glitch in Recent Exams: As we know that SSC has changed the vendor or rescheduled the exam in some centers due to some technical glitches or other reasons. In the same notice, they have mentioned that “The Commission has decided to conduct following examinations in the month of August, 2025,” which makes sense that in August 2025, the SSC will only conduct the SSC Stenographer and JHT exams.

5. Conduct of the UPSC IAS Mains Exam: As we know that the UPSC will conduct the UPSC IAS Mains exam on 22nd August 2025, which is one of the most high-profile national exams. Since both exams are prestigious and important, they require the same infrastructure, invigilators, systems, etc. To avoid the overlap, it might be possible that SSC can postpone the SSC CGL 2025 exam.
