Let’s dive into Sumeet’s inspiring story and take home a dose of courage, clarity, and conviction to crack your own IBPS Clerk exam journey.
Let’s find out how Sumeet turned his dream into a reality:
Q. Please brief us on when you started preparing for the competitive exams and how your preparation journey was.
On 1st April 2024, I made a major decision to quit my job due to my father’s health issues. During that time, I started my preparation.
Q. Which exams did you appear in till date and what were their results?
As of now, I have given CDS, AFCAT, RRB, and Banking exams and cleared all of these.
Q. How did you prepare for the English section?
For the English section, I only relied on mocks. I just analyzed the answers and learned from my mistakes.
Q. How did you prepare for the Quantitative Aptitude section?
For this section, I took help from Testbook, Practice mock, Olvbd and Harshal Sir.
Q. How did you prepare for the Reasoning section?
Practice Mock is the best here. I attempted sectional and full-length mocks too.
Q. What was your strategy for the General Awareness section?
I did daily GA for 3 months, then I focused on the monthly GA. I did all the 100 MCQs of PM, which are released on a weekly basis and revised from PM’s monthly magazine.
Q. Did PracticeMock help you in your success? Please elaborate.
I would say the complete credit for my score in Reasoning and GA goes to PracticeMock.
Q. Did you face any hurdle as well? How did you overcome it?
Yes, I was a defense aspirant. Initially, reasoning was where I got stuck at every conditional puzzle. PM’s puzzle made me learn in 6 months.
Q. What’s your message for the fellow aspirants who are preparing for competitive exams?
I’m not successful yet. A lot more to come, so just burn the midnight oil, and you are at the podium.
Sumeet’s story proves that determination, resourceful strategy, and the right tools can lead to success, even when the odds are stacked against you. His journey from a defense aspirant to a successful IBPS Clerk candidate is a testament to resilience and smart preparation. If you’re on a similar path, let this be your sign: keep going, stay focused, and trust the process. Your dream job is waiting.
