Sourav Kumar Saha’s Success Story

I Started preparing in 2019. At first I was average in Reasoning and weak in current affairs. So I would clear most pre but would stumble in mains due to Sectional. Then the deadly virus came in. Stopped everything but gave me a chance to focus on my weakness. After two years of near misses joined this year as a clerk in RRB. And now finally selected in IBPS clerk and have been allotted Union Bank.

Which exams did you appear in till date and what were their results?

• SBI PO 2019 didn’t clear pre. RRB PO and Clerk too. IBPS PO 2019 didn’t clear CA sectional while clearing total.
• Same for IBPS Clerk but Reasoning instead of CA.
• CGL 2019 DV done final results awaiting
• RBI Assistant 2020 95 in Prelims cutoff 95.75
• SBI Clerk missed in mains
• SSC CHSL 2020 failed after Tier 2
• IBPS PO and Clerk 2020 same as last year but subjects interchanged
• SBI PO 2020 pre failed. RRB PO Aand Clerk too
• CGL 2020 Tier 3 done in Feb 2022
• CHSL 2020 Tier 2 done in Jan 2022
• IB ACIO II 2021 appeared Interview on March 4 2022 results pending. Selected and Working in RRB assistant in 2021-22
• SBI PO 2022 Final score 50. Missed cutoff by 3 marks. IBPS PO 2022 final marks 45.98. Missed by 1.4. finally cleared sectional in both
• And got selected in IBPS Clerk

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

My only strategy was 1st to clear all basics. Then go for mocks and then solve those questions. I solved all questions atleast twice. And I tried to some all questions I couldn’t till I understood my mistakes. I was too weak in current affairs. Was hardly able to clear Sectionals but took help of some friends who were good there and they helped me improve somewhat.
