I started my preparation from 2018 onwards. My preparation journey was too long & very exhaustive. I qualified many pre of banking exams many times but couldn’t clear mains.

Section-wise Preparation Strategy

English Section Preparation Strategy

First of all i learnt basics grammar and cleared the concept of rest topics through youtube videos.And then did daily practice from PracticeMock QUIZ, ADDA DAILY QUIZ ( sometimes grade up). For practice i mostly preferred full length mock test. I used to read NEWSPAPER’S HEADLINES & EDITORIAL. Earlier i did’nt able to comprehend the editorial very well but with regular reading i had started comprehending very well.

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

This was my weakest part but had great accuracy. Earlier i used to run after short cuts & tricks but it was totally time waste because there are many types of questions and their different shortcuts so it’s not possible to memorize all those. well, after realizing my mistakes, simply i did clear basic concept of selected topics( especially in arithmetic like,( TIME& WORK,BOATS& STREAM, PARTNERSHIP,AVERAGE,RATIO, PERCENTAGE…) But for MAINS i mostly preferred DI (normal and topic based) Then did practice from the same app and full length mock test.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

In this section practice matters a lot so did practice as possible as i could. But before that i learnt the concept of each topic. For pre mains i practiced from mock test. That’s it.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

I always consider this section is more scoring. So i prepared for this section with full dedication. i preferred two ways 1st, adda daily, weekly, monthly & quiz from PracticeMock ,2nd was VIDEOS (MONTHLY REVISION from OLIVEBOARD, GRADE UP). I also made notes for current banking awareness because. And also tried to memorize all the questions from mains mock test.

Computer Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

I didn’t do anything special, only solved mcqs so that i could clear the cut off.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

When i started my preparation that time i never followed any specific study plan. As a result i failed many times then i tried to plan my study. So i always tried to focus equally on each subject . And also i used to give pre mock on daily basis. After pre exam i gave mains mock test. That’s all i did. YES, The biggest hurdle was lack of confidence, always underestimated myself & fear of failure. However by the time i overcame my hurdle with the help of my parents ‘limitless support and believe. So, i would like to thanks my parents from bottom of my heart before god.
