Started preparation in May. Never bothered preparing for English as I’m strong in it. Downloaded different Question PDFs and started practicing all question types. Worked on improving speed in each question type instead of giving mock after mock pointlessly.

No rigid study schedule. Just practiced randomly. On an average I practiced for 4 to 5 hours per day. Never gave too much mocks. In all I gave under 7 mocks for both prelims and mains combined. I faced hurdle in developing quants speed. Practiced high level Simplification.
