Himanshu Goyal’s Success Story

I started preparing for bank exams from june 2017. After completing my syllabus batch within 3 months i dropped for nine months which was actually a wrong decision. The same year i gave 5 papers out of which I cleared 2 prelims and dropped the other 3 by short margins. The next year i restarted in june 2018 again with the syllabus batch and cleared 6 prelims except sbi po. I was short by 30 marks each in my first six mains and by 10 marks in the next four mains. At last in 2018-19 ibps clerk, i was short by 2 marks in mains. Again back in 2019, i was short by 1 marks in the final selection of sbi po. But this time in my 13th mains, i cracked it…..yes i succeeded as an sbi junior associate.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

I study for 4-5 hours a day. These were the effective hours that when i leave the table it made me felt that yes i have done something. I was weak in reading but still i kept reading to the possible extent. Quant was the subject that helped me in qualifying the exam. If you are very strong at two subjects out of four you can still succeed by being an average in other two.
