Amit Gupta’s success story

I started preparing for the bank exam in 2019. I have given many exams such as:

  • SBI CLERK 2020 pre-cleared (out in mains)
  • RRB PO cleared pre, mains, and interview (out in final list by 3 marks)
  • RRB clerk (out by 0.25 marks)
  • IBPS PO (out in mains by 6 marks)
  • IBPS CLERK SELECTED (Punjab national bank)

Section-wise Preparation Strategy

English Section Preparation Strategy

I faced much trouble in improving this section. For me reading the paragraph and attempting the wrong questions and the questions I left when I give mock. It is enough and it gives me a good knowledge of grammar.

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

Initially, I am working on my basics and then giving mocks, Solving DI’s.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

this section requires a lot of practice. For pre speed and accuracy matters but in mains, you will see new types of puzzles so for mains attempt new pattern puzzles.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

I read daily current affairs. then revise weekly current affairs and then monthly pdf. This section gives you more marks if done properly. Initially, it looks very difficult to read 180 pages of monthly current affairs but including it, in your daily schedule, comes in your habit.

 Computer Awareness section Preparation Strategy

You have to go through some pdf’s revise them many times I scored 15/20 in this section, though many candidates fear this section I tell you this section is based on the basic computer knowledge.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

I had no fixed schedule I had studied at night sometimes in the early morning but I give at least 6 hours. Because I am giving tuitions so, I have to give more time to my work to maintain financial stability. Yes I faced many hurdles because I am weak in English section but as time goes on practice makes it possible for me.
