Alok Verma’s Success Story

I started the banking exam preparation in 2020. The journey was full of ups and downs. In the beginning, I was unable to crack the prelims exam but after continuous hard work, I cracked these two examinations including IBPS Clerk & IBPS RRB Clerk.

Which exams did you appear in till date and what were their results?

I started my preparation in 2020 and filled all the banking examination forms. In the beginning, I appeared in RBI assistant, SBI clerk and RRB office assistant but could not pass the prelims exam. Later, I cleared the prelims examination of RRB officer scale-1, IBPS PO and SBI PO but failed in mains exam. In 2021, I cleared all the prelims examinations except SBI PO. But the mains results were not in my favour. SBI clerk mains out by 3.25 marks, RRB officer scale-1 out by 2 marks and IBPS PO mains out by 2.5 marks. But finally got success in IBPS RRB Office Assistant 2021 and IBPS Clerk 2021.

English Section Preparation Strategy

For the English section, you have good reading skills as well as good vocabulary. For reading skills, I read the newspaper and gave sectional mock tests of PracticeMock. For vocabulary, I noted important words regularly.

For General awareness, I followed Kapil kathpal sir and revised current affairs multiple times.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

My study schedule was like this, I made a to-do list daily and tried to achieve all those tasks. My biggest hurdle was my regularity. I could not be so persistent as that was required. To overcome this I made small tasks and try to achieve them without taking extra stress.
