Akshay Jadhav’s Success Story

I have started my preparation from last sbi po 2018. It was my first banking exam. And i failed in prelims. Then I cleared prelims of IBPS po and clerk, but couldn’t qualify mains exam. So this year I started my preparation from basic and got selection in SBI PO and clerk and also in IDBI as assistant manager.

English Section Preparation Strategy

Let’s start with English, as I came from semi English background, but my English was not upto the mark. So I started my preparation from Wren and Martin book and editorials of news papers starting from toi, Indian express, and then The Hindu. Daily reading of editorials will give improve English. So, for English my strategy was reading reading and reading.

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

Now for quant basic concepts should be clear. Practice DI on the daily basis. Make your arithmetic part strong, because it will help you in mains.

Reasoning Section Preparation Strategy

And for reasoning I started solving puzzles from early stage with keeping record of time. I used to go through YouTube videos they will clear all concepts.

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy

For general awareness I used study iq 200 mcq videos, affairscloud pdfs and mcqs covered from PracticeMock’s mock tests.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

When I started giving these exams it was very difficult for me to clear mains, so I worked on my arithmetic portion for quants. I uninstall Facebook and Instagram and started using economic times, all India radio apps for improving my English and GA.
