Nationality:

The candidate must be

1. a citizen of India
2. a subject of Nepal, Bhutan
3. or a migrant from the following countries with the intention of permanently settling in India.

   • Myanmar
   • Sri Lanka
   • East African countries of Kenya
   • Uganda
   • the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar)
   • Zambia
   • Malawi
   • Zaire
   • Ethiopia
   • Vietnam

Age Limit:

• For Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 18 to 30 years as on 01.08.2023, i.e., candidates born not before 02.08.1993 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply
• For Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 18 to 27 years as on 01.08.2023, i.e., Candidates born not before 02.08.1996 and not later than 01.08.2005 are eligible to apply.
• There’s age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, Defence personnel, and Central Government Civilian Employees.

Educational Qualification:

The Candidate must have successfully completed the 10th board examination.

Application Fee

• The application fee for the exam is INR 100/-.
• The fee can be paid only through online payment modes, namely BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or by using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, or RuPay Credit or Debit card.

• Click on the ‘Login’ tab at the top of the window and select ‘New Registration’
• The registration form will open. Enter the information in the respective fields.
• You will get the credentials through email.
