SSC Stenographer is a competitive exam which is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of several posts. This exam consists of two stages: Tier 1 exam and Tier 2 exam. Tier 1 exam is a computer-based test (CBT) that consists of these sections: General Knowledge, General Reasoning & Intelligence and English Comprehension. Tier 2 exam will be a shorthand skill test. The CBT is of 200 marks and has 200 questions to be answered in 2 hours. The skill test is of qualifying nature and requires you to type at a speed of 100 words per minute for Grade C and 80 words per minute for Grade D.
