SSC MTS 2023 Exam Overview

SSC MTS exam is a competitive exam conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC). It provides job opportunities in various government departments and ministries. SSC MTS 2023 Exam Pattern

  • Computer Based Examination will consist of Objective Type, Multiple choice questions.
  • The Computer-Based Examination will be conducted for 270 marks, with a total of 90 questions asked.
  • The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and in 13 regional languages for Session-I and the General Awareness Section of Session II.
  • There will be no negative marking in Session-I.
  • In Session II, there will be a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

SSC MTS 2023 Selection Process

It is important for candidates who are going to appear in the SSC MTS exam to know about the SSC MTS Selection Process. Candidates must be aware of the different stages of the SSC MTS selection process so that they can prepare effectively. 

There are two stages in SSC MTS 2023 Selection Process: They are as follows:

  • Stage 1- Paper-1 Computer-Based Test (CBT)
  • Stage 2- Physical Efficiency Test / Physical Standard Test (PET/PST): For Havaldar posts in CBIC and CBN

Candidates are required to appear for the SSC MTS Written Test and Physical Efficiency Test (PET). The SSC MTS PET is compulsory only for the post of Havaldar.
