The wait is finally over. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially announced the exam dates for SSC GD Constable 2026. The exam is scheduled to start from 23rd February 2026 onwards. If you are appearing for this exam, knowing your Shift Timing is the most important thing right now. You don’t want to study for months only to reach the center late and face a closed gate. New Update: SSC GD Slot Booking 2026

For the 2026 exam, there is a buzz about “Self Slot Booking”. This means candidates might get the chance to choose their own exam date and shift, similar to banking exams.

• What to do? Keep an eye on the official website ssc.gov.in. If this link activates, book your slot immediately as it works on a “First Come, First Serve” basis.
• Admit Card: Your final Admit Card will be released 4 days before your exam date.

Important Exam Day Instructions

1. Admit Card: Print 2 copies (Color or B/W) just to be safe.
