SSC CGL 10 Days Revision Plan for Tier 2 Exam Master Plan
SSC CGL Tier 2 2025 exam is scheduled to be conducted on January 18 and 19, 2026. Roughly 10 days left for the exam. We know your heart might be beating a little faster, and you might be feeling a little nervousness. That is completely normal. You have spent months preparing, solving mock tests, and clearing Tier 1. Now, it all comes down to these final hours. The biggest mistake students make in the last 10 days is trying to learn everything. If you are also doing the same, then you might be mistaken. This is not the time to start new chapters; this is the time to sharpen what you already know. In this blog, we have provided a practical SSC CGL 10 Days Revision Plan for Tier 2 exam.
These 10 days are the most important, and utilizing them carefully is crucial. So, we have divided these 10 days into 3 Phases so that you can take your preparation systematically.
| Days | Maths & Reasoning (Section I) | English & GK (Section II) | Computer & Typing (Section III) | Mock Test Strategy |
| Day 1 | Revise Arithmetic Formulas (Profit/Loss, CI/SI) | Grammar Rules (Subject-Verb, Tenses) | Read: MS Word Shortcuts | Full Mock 1 (Analysis is Key!) |
| Day 2 | Geometry: Circles & Triangles Properties | Vocab: Idioms & Phrasal Verbs | Read: MS Excel Formulas | Full Mock 2 (Focus on Accuracy) |
| Day 3 | Algebra Identities & Mensuration 3D | GK: Last 6 Months Current Affairs | Read: Internet & Email Basics | Full Mock 3 (Time Management Check) |
| Day 4 | Trigonometry Values & Height/Distance | Vocab: One Word Substitution | Practice: 15 Mins Typing | Sectional Mock: Maths & English |
| Day 5 | Reasoning: Coding-Decoding & Series Patterns | GK: Static GK (Dance, Art, Books) | Quiz: Computer Security/Virus | Full Mock 4 (Last Serious Mock) |
| Day 6 | Reasoning: Puzzles & Seating Arrangement | English: Reading Comprehension Practice | Practice: 15 Mins Typing | Review Wrong Questions from Mocks 1-4 |
| Day 7 | Revise “Mistake Notebook” (Maths) | GK: Polity Articles & Amendments | Read: Computer Abbreviations | Light Practice (No Full Mock) |
| Day 8 | Rapid Fire Formula Revision | Grammar: Active/Passive Voice Rules | Practice: 15 Mins Typing | Light Practice (No Full Mock) |
| Day 9 | Light Calculation Drills (Tables/Squares) | Glance through Vocab Notes | Read: Shortcut Keys Summary | Stop Mocks. Just Relax. |
| Day 10 | NO STUDY. Relax your mind. | Check Admit Card/ID Proofs. | Ensure Keyboard Familiarity. | Sleep Early. |
You need to align your body clock with the exam timing. If your exam is in the morning, do not sleep until 10 AM during these 10 days.
| Time Slot | Activity | Why? |
| 6:30 AM – 7:00 AM | Wake Up + Warm Water | Wake up your brain naturally. |
| 7:00 AM – 9:15 AM | Full Length Mock Test (Tier 2) | Train your brain to be active during exam hours. |
| 9:15 AM – 10:30 AM | Breakfast & Relax | Take a break. Step away from screens. |
| 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM | Mock Analysis | This is where you improve. Check every wrong answer. |
| 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM | Computer Knowledge Revision | Don’t ignore this! It’s qualifying but dangerous. |
| 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM | Lunch & Nap | A short 20-min power nap works wonders. |
| 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM | Maths & Reasoning Revision | Focus on formulas and “tricky” patterns you forgot. |
| 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM | Typing Practice (DEST) | Type 1-2 paragraphs. Focus on accuracy, not just speed. |
| 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM | English & GK Revision | Read Current Affairs or Vocab notes. |
| 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM | Dinner | Eat light food. |
| 9:30 PM | Sleep | You need 8 hours of sleep to retain memory. |
Many students score 300+ in the main papers but fail because they took Computer and Typing lightly. You are strongly advised not to forget about this section.
