According to the official notification, the SBI PO salary 2023 is based on the Bipartite Settlement between banks and employees. The basic pay for SBI POs is Rs. 41,960 (with 4 advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I. This means that the starting salary of an SBI PO is Rs. 41,960 and it increases gradually with annual increments.

However, the basic pay is not the only component of the SBI PO salary. There are various allowances and benefits that are added to the basic pay, such as:

• Dearness Allowance (DA): This is a cost of living adjustment allowance that is revised quarterly based on the Consumer Price Index (CPI). The current DA for SBI POs is Rs. 20,350.
• City Compensatory Allowance (CCA): This is an allowance that varies depending on the place of posting. It ranges from 3% to 4% of the basic pay. The current CCA for SBI POs is Rs. 700.
