SBI PO General Awareness Study Plan

SBI PO General Awareness Study Plan: Most of you might be totally dedicated towards prelims and would not even consider preparing for general awareness until the prelims are over. Well, that’s a short sighted approach because the time available between prelims and mains is not enough to cover the entire 6 months of SBI PO general awareness. Many think that it would be too difficult to manage GA when prelims are around. That’s not true. You can easily manage to do well in GA if you follow a given study plan for the same. Ideally you need to follow these 3 simple steps to prepare for GA:

You will start preparing from Day -1.

You need to find a valid source like a Youtube channel for daily CA prep

A channel which can daily give you a summary of current affairs in 15-20 minutes daily. You can make notes but most importantly you will have to be consistent with it. The same current affair news will get repeated in the next 5 days, or even in the next month. That you wil be able to retain information. And with notes you will be able to revise periodically.

SBI PO General Awareness – Focus on these topics:

  • Banking GK
  • Economics GK
  • Funds allotted
  • State news
  • Appointments (Special designations of banks and Government of India)
  • Schemes
  • Books and Authors – You can easily cover them because hardly 4-5 books are released every month. Don’t miss out on this topic.
  • Awards
  • Committees – Bank related
  • Rankings and reports
Don’t worry. You won’t have to focus on these topics individually. We will help you with this. Read the next point.

SBI PO General Awareness – Read weekly and monthly GA PDFs of PracticeMock

The weekly and monthly versions cover all the syllabus aspects of GA and current affairs. A PDF file with well reserached information will be immensely to keep the trackof the relevant current affairs. Every single week there will be release of a new verions, and monthly as well.

Download monthly GA PDFs here

Following these 3 steps will hardly consume too much of your time and you will be completely ready when the time comes. Doing so willgive you a strategic advantage over the others as many would fall in the trap of preparing for GA post prelims.
