SBI Clerk Mains 1 Month Study Plan 2025, Get Best Plan to crack Exam Easily
The SBI Clerk Prelims 2025 exam is now over. If you have appeared for the exam, it’s the right time to shift your complete focus towards the SBI Clerk Mains 2025. Don’t wait for the Prelims result; your effort is already done there. Now, your real challenge begins, and it’s time to get ahead of others by preparing for the Mains exam immediately. The SBI Clerk Mains 2025 is scheduled for November 2025, which means you have only a limited number of days left. Since the difficulty level of Mains is much higher than Prelims, you need to plan wisely and spend more time on advanced-level questions. To help you with this, here we are sharing a structured SBI Clerk Mains study plan with section-wise tips that will boost your preparation and help you clear the toughest stage of this exam.
The SBI Clerk Mains is the most crucial stage with four sections – General/Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude. A total of 190 questions carry 200 marks, with 2 hours and 40 minutes to solve. Only the marks of the Mains are counted for the merit list. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of the mark assigned for the question will be deducted for each wrong answer.
| Sl. | Name of Test | Medium of Exam | No. of Questions | Max. Marks | Duration |
| 1 | General/Financial Awareness | * | 50 | 50 | 35 minutes |
| 2 | General English | English | 40 | 40 | 35 minutes |
| 3 | Quantitative Aptitude | * | 50 | 50 | 45 minutes |
| 4 | Reasoning Ability & Computer Aptitude | * | 50 | 60 | 45 minutes |
| Total | 190 | 200 | 2 Hr 40 Min |
Start with the subjects you already practiced in Prelims Reasoning, Quant, and English, but now focus on high-level puzzles, DI sets, and comprehension-based questions. Along with these, give special attention to the General Awareness (GA) section, as it can help you score quick and easy marks. If you haven’t started yet, don’t lose hope. There’s still time. Begin with one full-length mock test to check your current level. After that, carefully analyze your mistakes and mark the topics where you are weak. Align these weak areas with your study plan so that you can strengthen them in the coming days.
For GA, start revising current affairs from May to October 2025, with special focus on banking awareness and static GK. If you are a full-time student, give 7–8 hours daily with a balance between all subjects. If you’re a working candidate, split your study into 2 hours in the morning, 2 in the evening, and short revisions during free time. GA is a scoring section because it doesn’t involve lengthy calculations, so use this advantage to maximize your score and cross the overall cutoff.

| Last 2 Days | Full-length Mains Mock Tests (analyze mistakes) | Full-length Mains Mock Tests | Full-length Mains Mock Tests | Final GA Revision |
Begin your preparation with topic-wise mock tests to sharpen your basics in each subject. Once confident, move on to mini-mocks (covering 2–3 topics together) to improve speed and accuracy. It’s not practical to attempt 2 full-length Mains mocks daily, so focus on 1 mock every 2–3 days. Use the remaining time to solve topic-wise quizzes, mini mocks, and revise weak areas.
But remember, the real benefit of mocks comes from analysis. Check the questions you got wrong, skipped, or spent too much time on. Revise those areas thoroughly. Maintain a separate notebook to note down important formulas, tricky questions, shortcuts, and new concepts. This notebook will become your most powerful revision tool before the exam.
Don’t worry too much about your scores in the beginning. Instead, focus on improving with every test. With consistent practice, revision, and smart planning, your scores will rise, and you’ll enter the SBI Clerk Mains exam with confidence and clarity.
