SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the SBI Clerk 2025 eligibility criteria along with the official notification. Only Indian citizens can apply for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. Candidates are allowed to apply for vacancies in only one State/UT. After qualifying in the online Main examination, candidates must also clear the Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT). This test is very important as it checks whether the candidate can read, write, and speak the local language of the state they are applying for. Candidates who fail to qualify in this language test will not be given the appointment, even if they have cleared the Prelims and Mains exam. The eligibility includes details like age limit, educational qualification, and nationality, which all aspirants must fulfill before applying.

Given below are the detailed qualification requirements that you must fulfill to be eligible to appear in SBI Clerk 2025 exam:
If you want to crack the upcoming SBI clerk 2025 exam, you must be of 20 years of age or above as of and must not exceed 28 years of age, i.e. you should have been born not later than 01.04.2002 and not before 02.041994 (both days inclusive).
Given below is the age relaxation in the following table for certain candidates. You must go through it before the SBI Clerk registration process.

Note: If you want the benefits of age relaxation, you must produce/show the relevant certificates at the time of joining, after the final SBI Clerk selection process. No changes in this category will be permitted after the successful SBI Clerk registration process. You will also not be allowed to contact through email/ phone in this regard.
Candidates under the reserved category have reservations in SBI clerical positions. There are a different number of vacancies provided based on different categories:
