RRB NTPC Syllabus 2022 – Overview

Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has released the Recruitment Notification for Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) Posts.

RRB NTPC Exam Pattern

The selection process for RRB NTPC exam involves the following steps:

  • First Stage of CBT,
  • Second Stage of CBT,
  • Typing Test (Skill Test)/ Aptitude Test,
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Examination

The candidates will have to qualify each stage to be eligible for an appointment at the Indian Railways.

RRB NTPC Syllabus – CBT 1 Exam Pattern

RRB NTPC CBT 1 is only a screening round. The marks of CBT 1 will not be included in the final merit list. It eliminates the slightly non-serious candidates. The normalized score of CBT 1 is used for shortlisting candidates for CBT 2 which is almost 20 times the vacancies. All the questions will be objective in nature, i.e., Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Note:  1/3 Marks will be deducted for every wrong answer given, as per the negative marking scheme. But there will be no negative marking for a question left unanswered.
