There is a negative marking of 1/3 mark for every incorrect answer. The minimum percentage prescribed is 40% for UR and EWS, 30% for OBC-NCL and SC, and 25% for ST candidates.
Candidates are shortlisted for CBT-II based on their normalized CBT-I marks. The number of candidates shortlisted for CBT-II will generally be 15 times the community-wise total vacancies notified against the concerned RRB, subject to the provisions mentioned in the CEN.
