If you are preparing for the RRB Clerk 2025 exam, the best way to improve your marks is to solve practice sets. These sets help you understand the exam pattern, types of questions, and the level of difficulty. Doesnt matter whether you’re just starting or revising at the end, these practice sets are useful for everyone. In this blog, we’ll provide you on how to use these sets in the right way, starting with topic-wise sets, moving to sectional tests, then to mini mocks, and finally full-length mock tests.
The RRB Clerk Practice Set is made using previous year question papers. These sets include questions that were asked last year. Many toppers recommend using these sets because they are very helpful in understanding what the exam is really like. You can start with the easy sets and slowly move to the tougher ones. As you know, practice daily for the best results.
As the exam is in December month you have enough time. So if you are starting to prepare, always begin with topic-wise practice. Pick one topic from each section, like puzzles in Reasoning, simplification in Quant. Solve 10–15 questions daily from each topic. Once you feel like you understand the concepts of the topic properly, move ahead.
Once you finish topic-wise practice, start giving sectional tests. Sectional tests help you practice one full section, like Quant, Reasoning, at a time. These tests will help you manage time and improve speed in each section. You will also know which section is your weakest and needs more practice. Try to give at least 2–3 sectional tests each week. After each test, check the answers and note your mistakes.
Mini mocks are short mock tests that include questions from all sections, just like the real exam, but in a smaller format. These are helpful when you don’t have time for a full mock test but still want to practice everything. Mini mocks are also good for daily practice. You can solve one mini mock every day to stay in touch with all subjects. They are useful to check your speed and accuracy.
When you are done with topic-wise sets, sectional tests, and mini mocks, start solving full-length mock tests. These tests are exactly like the real RRB Clerk exam made by our experts. They include all sections with the same time limit. Full mocks help you test your preparation and time management. Try to give at least 2–3 mocks every week. After each mock, check your score and see which areas need improvement. Keep a notebook to track your performance.
If you’re preparing for RRB Clerk 2025, going through previous year papers is very important. These papers help you understand what kind of questions are usually asked in the exam. You will also get to know the level of difficulty of each section, whether it was easy, moderate, or tough in previous years. This way, you can prepare smarter by focusing on important topics and question patterns. It also helps you manage your time better during practice. So, before starting your mock tests, solve at least 2–3 previous year question papers to get a clear idea of the questions.
