As per the RPF Constable selection process 2024, the Computer-Based Test (CBT 1) is the first stage of the RPF Constable exam. This stage consists of a total of 120 questions and each question carries one mark. The CBT 1 is a time-bounded exam. Candidates will get a total of 90 minutes to attempt the exam. This is a qualifying round, candidates who pass the CBT 1 will move to the next round which is the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).

The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) is the second stage of the RPF Constable selection process. Candidates who pass the CBT 1 exam will be eligible to appear in the PET exam. The RPF conducts the PET exam to check the physical efficiency of the candidates. This exam includes running, long jump, and high jump. The Physical Measurement Test is the third round of the RPF Constable selection process. This test includes the measurement of height for both males and females and the measurement of the chest for only males. There are some criteria and measurements that are decided on the basis of category that candidates must go through once carefully. This test will be conducted for those candidates who pass the PET exam.

Document verification is the last stage of the RPF Constable selection process. Candidates who passed the CBT, PET/PST will be called for this round. If candidates tie in marks, the preference of getting selection will be provided to the older one. Candidates are advised to bring their Xerox and original documents such as educational qualification certificates, personal documents such as date of birth proof, domicile certificate, government-issued ID card, and much more. After this round, a medical verification round will be conducted, and then selected candidates will be called for the training.
