In the Mains Exam, there is a category-wise weightage for the English section. The NICL AO Exam has a descriptive test, which is qualifying in nature and is of 30 marks. The time limit for this is 30 minutes. It includes following section-

To master reading comprehension, you need to read an English newspaper daily. Try to have basic knowledge of topics such as the economy, insurance, and social issues. Try to analyze the intent, tone, and vocabulary while practicing the passages.
Prioritize topics such as subject-verb agreement, tense consistency, pronoun clarity, and modifier placement, along with practicing error detection at least 10 questions daily.
