NABARD Specialist Recruitment 2025-26 Overview

This year, NABARD has invited applications for five contractual specialist posts at its Head Office in Mumbai. The posts span across technical and development-focused roles, including Data Scientist/AI Engineer, Data Engineer, Data Scientist-cum-BI Developer, and Specialist – Data Management (SME). The selected candidates will be appointed on a two-year contract, extendable up to five years, subject to annual reviews.

Eligibility Criteria

Each role requires a specific set of qualifications and experience, with most technical roles requiring a B.E./B.Tech./M.E./M.Tech/MCA in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or related fields. The Specialist – Data Management role requires a Master’s degree in any discipline with 5–7 years of experience in development projects, preferably in national/international organizations or NGOs.

Experience in AI/ML, cloud platforms, NLP, databases (SQL, NoSQL), BI tools, ESG reporting, and MIS systems is essential or preferred depending on the post.

Age limits vary:

• Data Scientist/AI Engineer and Data Engineer: 25–35 years
• Data Scientist-cum-BI Developer: 23–30 years
• Specialist – Data Management: 30–40 years

Selection Process

The selection will be based on interviews. Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:3 ratio based on qualifications and experience. Final selection will include a medical fitness check. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified via the NABARD website.
