The basic pay for IOB LBO 2025 is Rs. 48,480 per month.
The yearly increments are made for Indian Overseas Bank Local Bank Officers 2025, including overall allowances. After consecutive increments every year, the salary reaches Rs. 85,920 per month.

Probation Period:
Candidates selected will be on probation for a period of 2 years (active service) from the date of joining the Bank. Their confirmation in the Bank’s service will be as determined by the Bank in terms of the Officers’ Service Regulation (OSR).
Indemnity Bond:
Candidates selected for appointment will be required to execute a Financial Service Agreement Indemnity Bond for Rs 2,00,000/- (Rupees Two lakhs) for rendering service for a minimum period of 3 years.
Leave, Travel Allowance:
The leave and travel allowance will be as per the Service Rules of the Bank applicable at the time of appointment.
Selection will be made based on an Online Examination, followed by a Language Proficiency Test (LPT) and a Personal Interview. Candidates qualifying in the Online Examination would be called for the Language Proficiency Test (LPT), and candidates qualifying both the online exam and LPT will be called for a Personal Interview. The following are the criteria for the Language Proficiency Test.
Merit list of candidates based on the marks obtained by them in the online examination will be prepared in descending order for the respective categories, and they should have qualified in the LPT. Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in the online examination & LPT (wherever applicable) shall be called for a Personal Interview. The minimum qualifying marks will be decided by the Bank.
The weightage ratio of the Online Exam and the Personal Interview will be in the ratio of 80:20, respectively. The combined final score of candidates shall be arrived at based on scores obtained by the candidates in the Online Examination and Personal Interview. Selection will be made from the top-ranked candidates in the merit list prepared on a state-wise and category-wise wise.
