IBPS RRB Mains Exam Days Guidelines 2024: The IBPS RRB Mains 2024 exam is an important step for candidates who wish to start a career in regional rural banks across India. Some Important Guidelines for IBPS RRB Mains Exam 2024

Here are some important guidelines for the IBPS RRB Mains 2024 Exam candidates. Please read all the instructions carefully to avoid any problems during the exam.

1. Your IBPS RRB Admit Card

  • Don’t forget to bring the printed copy of their IBPS RRB Mains admit card along with one photo-identity proof (original and photocopy). Your recent passport-size photographs should be pasted on it. Bring one additional photograph in case of need.
  • Your prelims admit card will not be collected at the exam centre. However, it will be duly authenticated/stamped by the exam officials. You need to keep with you the admit card and photo-identity proof.

2. Your Photo-Identity Proof

  • The accepted photo-identity proof is PAN Card/Passport/Permanent Driving License/Voter’s Card/Bank Passbook with photograph/photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer (on official letterhead)/Photo Identity proof issued by a People’s Representative (on official letterhead)/ Identity Card issued by a recognised College/University/Aadhar Card/E-Aadhar Card with a photograph/Employee ID/Bar Council Identity card with the photograph)
  • Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof

3. Your IBPS RRB Exam Centre

  • The details regarding IBPS RRB mains exam centres are mentioned on the admit card. Therefore, you must visit the exam centre one day before the exam and confirm the location.
  • At the time of the exam, the late comers will not be allowed to enter the exam hall.
  • You’ll not be provided the travelling allowance.

4. Dress Code

  • Wear comfortable clothes: Wear comfortable clothes that won’t allow you to sit for long hours without any discomfort. Avoid wearing any jewellery.
  • Electronic Items: Do not carry any electronic devices like mobile phones, smartwatches, calculators or any other gadgets. Bags, wallets and any kind of study material are also not allowed inside the exam hall.

5. Items Not allowed inside the exam hall

  • You are not allowed to carry certain items inside the exam hall like textual material (printed or written), bits of paper, geometry/pencil box, plastic pouch, calculator, scale, writing pad, pen drives, log table, electronic pen/scanner.
  • You are not allowed to carry any communication device such as a mobile phone, Bluetooth, earphones, microphone, pager, health band, etc. are not allowed. You are not allowed to carry items, such as goggles, handbags, hairpins, hairbands, belts, cap, Watch/Wristwatch, and the camera are not allowed.
  • You are also not allowed to carry with you any metallic item, eatable item opened or packed are also not allowed.
  • You are advised not to wear ornaments such as rings, earrings, nose-pin, chains/necklaces, pendants, badges, brooch, etc.

What documents do I need to carry on the exam day?

Carry your admit card and a valid photo ID proof such as Aadhar card, PAN card, voter ID, passport, or driving license.

Can I carry a digital copy of my admit card?

No, you must carry a printed copy of your admit card for verification purposes.

What time should I reach the exam center?

Arrive at least 30-45 minutes before the reporting time mentioned on your admit card to complete all verification procedures.

Is there a dress code for the IBPS RRB exam?

While there is no specific dress code, wear comfortable clothing and avoid jewelry or accessories that might trigger security alarms.
