Simplification and Approximation

These questions are quick and high-scoring if you are fast with calculations. Make sure to learn your rules of BODMAS, percentages, ratios, and the basic operations with fractions and decimals. Use tricks for squares, cubic roots, and converting percentages. Practice 20 to 25 simplification questions per day, as accuracy is more important than speed. Number Series

Start with single graphs – either bar or line – before progressing to mixed DI. Use techniques that allow you to approximate answers for quicker calculations. Arithmetic Word Problems

Covers nearly 30–40% of the Quant section across both stages. Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Average, Simple & Compound Interest, Profit & Loss, Time & Work, and Speed, Time & Distance. Build conceptual clarity before moving to mixed arithmetic sets. Revise basic formulas and their interconnections (e.g., the relation between speed, time, and distance). Solve topic-wise questions for accuracy. Attempt mixed arithmetic quizzes to simulate exam-level difficulty. Keep a small formula notebook for last-minute revision.
