As you already know, the IBPS PO and SBI PO exams are over. Many candidates who are not satisfied with their performance in those exams are now focusing on IBPS Clerk with full dedication. This clearly shows how tough the competition is going to be this year. If you are also preparing for IBPS Clerk, then you must already be aware of the exam dates (4th, 5th, and 11th October). Looking at the exam date, you now have only 30 days left for your preparation. So it is important to study at least 10 hours a day to effectively cover all the topics and practice enough questions. In this article, we will discuss how to manage study hours effectively while keeping an equal focus on preparatory practice for the IBPS Clerk 2025 exam.
Here’s how you can divide your 10 study hours daily:
1. Quantitative Aptitude- 3 Hours
2. Reasoning Ability- 3 Hours
3. English Language- 3 Hours
4. General Awareness (GA) – 1 Hour
In the last few days, your focus should be on smart preparation rather than learning every new topic. Follow a proper routine, divide your study hours and take a mock test to boost your speed and accuracy for the IBPS Clerk 2025 exam. A well-planned strategy can give you an extra boost to score high marks.
Practice is the key to clearing the prelims exam easily. Solve at least 10 to 20 questions daily from scoring topics. Regular practice will not only increase your speed but also help you identify shortcut tricks.
Previous year question papers are like a mirror of the actual exam. By solving these, you can understand the type of questions asked, the difficulty level and the importance of different topics.
Mock tests are the best way to test your preparation level. Take at least 3-4 full mock tests every week to test your speed, time management and accuracy. Analyse your mistakes after every test so that you do not repeat them.
Short notes are very helpful during revision. Write down important formulas, rules, shortcut tricks and general knowledge points in a notebook. These notes will help you revise quickly in the last few days.
Revision is as important as practice. Without revision, whatever you read may go out of your mind during the exam. Spend at least 1-2 hours daily revising the formulas & shortcuts to keep them fresh in your memory.
