How to Manage Study Hours in the Last 30 Days Before IBPS Clerk 2025 Exam

As you already know, the IBPS PO and SBI PO exams are over. Many candidates who are not satisfied with their performance in those exams are now focusing on IBPS Clerk with full dedication. This clearly shows how tough the competition is going to be this year. If you are also preparing for IBPS Clerk, then you must already be aware of the exam dates (4th, 5th, and 11th October). Looking at the exam date, you now have only 30 days left for your preparation. So it is important to study at least 10 hours a day to effectively cover all the topics and practice enough questions. Here’s how you can divide your 10 study hours daily:

1. Quantitative Aptitude- 3 Hours

• Focus on the most scoring topics like simplification, approximation, quadratic equations, and number series.
• Practice DI & Arithmetic daily since these form the backbone of Prelims and are equally useful in Mains.
• Solve at least 2 sectional tests of Quant every day.
  

2. Reasoning Ability- 3 Hours

• Work on Seating Arrangement & Puzzles (high-weightage topics) & solve daily 10 to 20 questions to boost your reasoning score.
• Revise Coding-Decoding, Inequalities, Syllogisms, Blood Relation, and Direction Sense daily.
• Solve the previous year’s questions to understand the pattern and difficulty level.
  

3. English Language- 3 Hours

• Practice Reading Comprehension daily to improve speed and accuracy.
• Work on three things: Reading, Grammar and vocabulary.
• Attempt daily topic test for cloze tests and para jumbles and other scoring topics.
• Read our Hindu editorials to enhance vocabulary (also helpful for Mains descriptive).
  

4. General Awareness (GA) – 1 Hour

• Even while preparing for Prelims, spend at least 45 mins-1 hour daily on GA because it plays a decisive role in Mains.
• Cover:
  • Last 4–6 months of Current Affairs (Banking, Economy, Government Schemes).
  • Static GK related to banking.
  • Banking Awareness (RBI updates, financial terms, committees).
• Make short notes and revise them daily.

In the last few days, your focus should be on smart preparation rather than learning every new topic.
