I started my preparation for competitive exams in 2018. I started with ssc CGL but with time I got attracted towards banking as the process of selection was very fast and obviously banking sector has good opportunities for growth in future. One of my friend told me about practice mock. In very few days I started liking the app because after attempting the mock tests on this platform I gradually started feeling confident. My accuracy started increasing and my speed was also getting better. I appeared in IBPS RRB Scale I 2020. I got selected in Aryavart bank, UP.

I prepared for the English section with daily newspaper reading. It was helpful for me with my current affairs also. I used to read only the editorials to save time and started listing out the new words I came across with. I was on a better side for English section as I did my Graduation in B.A. (Hons.) English.

Quantitative Aptitude Section Preparation Strategy

For this section I used to watch Youtube videos and other than that I totally relied on practicemock. I attempted all the mock tests available on practicemock. Mock tests helped to increase accuracy and speed and the solutions provided at the end helped me to correct my mistakes.

I stated taking notes and revised them regularly. Adding to all this I used all the available general awareness capsules over the internet for banking exams.

I am very much interested in computers since childhood which helped me here. I genuinely didn.t do anything extra for computer awareness. I just brushed up my knowledge on computers and after the examination, I realized that much was enough.

Overall Strategy, Study Schedule & Challenges Faced

I dedicated 5-6 hours of my day for preparation of this exam. I used to start with newspaper editorials. After this I had a list of all the topics I needed to cover to crack this exam. I used to cover all the basic concepts of 2-3 topics everyday. after that I focused on the mock tests. I personally believe mock tests are the key to crack IBPS. And in must say attempting mock tests means solving all the question again after completing the test to and learn to attempt what all you missed during the test. As such there was no hurdle as but the one thing which irritated me was the screen time. My eyes used to pain a lot but I had no choice. I guess one can take this pain to reach success.
