The SSC may also set qualifying marks for each part of the Written Examination. Candidates are required to qualify for the Skill Test to undertake a stenography test. In this test, candidates will be given one dictation for 10 minutes in either English or Hindi, with a speed requirement of 100 w.p.m. for Stenographer Grade &#8216;C&#8217; and 80 w.p.m. for Stenographer Grade &#8216;D&#8217;.
