Candidates are required to fill a single IBPS PO Application Form for the first stage leading to the other two stages. But, separate admit cards are released for each exam. Candidates who will qualify Preliminary exam will appear in the main exam. Similarly, those who will qualify for the Main exam will become eligible to appear in the Interview round. They will be promoted to the next stages on the basis of the cut-off. This shortlist will be made based on merit-cum-preference keeping in view the spirit of Govt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Given below are some points you must know:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Shortlisted candidates will be provisionally allotted based on merit-cum-preference for the vacancies reported by participating organisations.<\/li><li>Tie Breaking: In case two or more candidates obtain the same score then the candidate elder in age will be ranked above the candidate younger in age.<\/li><li>Government of India guidelines on reservation policy and other rules and regulations, administrative exigency, etc will be followed while making the allotment.<\/li><li>The provisional allotment is subject to the candidate fulfilling the criteria for Participating Organisation and identity verification to the satisfaction of the allotted organisation.<\/li><li>Since the provisional allotment is made to participating organisations on merit cum preference basis, no request for change will be entertained.<\/li><li>Further, if a candidate who is provisionally allotted does not avail the offer of appointment from the Participating Organisation, his candidature will be cancelled.<\/li><li>Issuance of offer of appointment including terms and conditions, formalities for verification, joining etc. is solely the decision of the Participating Organisations and shall be final and binding.<\/li><li>A reserve list of up to 10 percent of the vacancies under each category may be made depending on the availability of candidates.<\/li><li>In case, Participating Organisations provides further vacancies during April 2020-March 2021, provisional allotment will be carried out for the candidates from that reserve list.<\/li><li>The reserve list will expire automatically on March 31, 2022 without any notice.<\/li><li>The decision of IBPS in provisional allotment of Organisations will be final and binding upon the selected candidates.<\/li><li>However, IBPS reserves the right to cancel, reallot Organisation-wise allocation or change the process depending upon exigencies or otherwise.<\/li><li>IBPS PO Recruitment is an All India cadre and provisionally allotted candidates may be posted anywhere in India\/ outside India as per discretion of the participating organisation.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.practicemock.com\/exams\/banking\/ibps-po\/?refcode=2812&amp;utm_source=Blog_IBPS+PO-Selection+Process+%26+Exam+Pattern_290921_IBPSPOM&amp;utm_medium=LINK&amp;utm_campaign=IBPSPOM\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.practicemock.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/IBPS_PO_210921-1-10-1024x128.jpg\" alt=\"IBPS PO-Selection Process &amp; Exam Pattern\" class=\"wp-image-8611\" \/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Exam Pattern for IBPS PO 2021<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The IBPS PO&nbsp;Prelims exam&nbsp;tests a candidate with&nbsp;100 questions of Objective type (MCQ).&nbsp;In the second stage, you will have to face&nbsp;Objective questions (MCQ) of 200 + 25 marls of Objective (MCQ)&nbsp;nature, except for the English Descriptive Paper. The last stage, the interview, will test you with Verbal questions of 100 Marks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IBPS PO Prelims Exam Pattern<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The prelims exam of IBPS PO consists of a total of 100 questions with a time duration of 60 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Question type remains Multiple Choice questions.<\/li><li>There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks in the exam for each wrong answer.<\/li><li>This round of IBPS PO exam is only qualifying in nature.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>S. An adequate number of candidates in each category as decided by IBPS depending upon requirements will be shortlisted for Online Main Examination.
