Understand the Exam Pattern<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Before diving into your preparation, it’s essential to understand the SBI PO exam pattern. As of my last knowledge update in September 2021, the SBI PO exam consists of three phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Preliminary Examination:<\/strong> This is the initial screening phase. It includes three sections: English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability. Each team has a fixed time limit, and you must clear the sectional and overall cutoffs to qualify for the Main examination.<\/li>\n
  2. Main Examination:<\/strong> Once you clear the preliminary exam, you’ll move on to the main exam. The main exam comprises four sections: Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General\/Economy\/Banking Awareness, and English Language. Additionally, there’s a Descriptive Paper that tests your writing skills.<\/li>\n
  3. Group Discussion and Interview:<\/strong> After clearing the main exam, you’ll be called for a Group Discussion (GD) and Interview. The marks obtained in the main exam, GD, and Interview are considered for the final selection.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
