Candidates applying for Civil Engineering PSU jobs should have a B.Tech\/BE from a recognized university or college with a valid GATE score. Public Sector Undertakings are classified into three categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Maharatna: Maharatna companies are PSUs with an average annual turnover of less than 20k crore. These government companies fall in the category of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSE). Examples: BHEL, GAIL (India), NTPC and IOCL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Miniratna: Miniratna PSUs are classified into two categories: category I and II. Turnover of Miniratna companies is lower than Navratna and Maharatna companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
