The starting Basic Pay is Rs.19900\/- (Rs.17900\/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>To explain you what these numbers mean, we will start with 17,900 which is the first number. The second set of numbers is 1000\/3 which means that there is an annual increment of Rs 1000 for 3 years which will make your basic pay 20,900 (17,900 + 3,000).<\/li><li>Now the annual increment is your next set of number which is 1230\/3. So the next increment is Rs 1,230 for 3 years. Now after a service of 6 years, your basic pay is 24,590 (20,900 + 3,690).<\/li><li>You can keep calculating like this. This way your basic pay will become <strong>47,920<\/strong> after 19 years.<\/li><li>This amount is just your basic pay i.e. without any additional allowances &amp; perks.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Talking about emoluments, the total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.29,000\/- per month inclusive of D.A., other allowances at the current rate and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate junior associates. Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting.
