There are 100 questions to deal with in 60 minutes. It all the more makes sense to answer easy & moderate questions first before moving on to difficult questions. For your convenience, we have created 3 rounds in each section which you can take in that sequence. Let\u2019s have a look: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

LIC AAO Prelims- Success Strategy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Reasoning Ability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Round 1:<\/strong> Start with non-puzzle based questions like coding-decoding, syllogisms, questions related to direction sense, blood relations etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 2:<\/strong> Move towards the critical reasoning questions and solve simple puzzles (may relate to blood relations, circular\/linear seating arrangement, floor-based puzzle) and questions related to input-output.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 3:<\/strong> Solve difficult puzzles\/seating arrangement (double line puzzles).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quantitative Aptitude<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Round 1:<\/strong> Start with number series, equations comparison, and easy data interpretation sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tip<\/em>: If you get stuck with one number series question and unable to solve it within 30-40 seconds, skip it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 2:<\/strong> Solve word problems and easy data interpretation sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 3:<\/strong> Move on to difficult data interpretation sets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 1:<\/strong> Prioritize Non-RC based questions like vocab-based questions and cloze passages. You can also attempt vocab-based RC questions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note<\/em>: In vocab-based questions, try getting the sense of the word by reading the preceding\/succeeding line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 2:<\/strong> Attempt grammar-based questions like Error detection, Sentence correction, Phrase correction etc. in this round<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Round 3:<\/strong> Go for non-vocab RC-based questions, para jumbles and para connectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
