Types of coding-decoding questions in RRB PO<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Here are the common formats you will face in the exam (adapted to RRB PO):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    <\/strong> Example: If CAT<\/strong> is coded as DBU<\/strong>, what will DOG<\/strong> be?
    In this case, each letter is shifted by +1 \u2192 C\u2192D, A\u2192B, T\u2192U. Hence DOG \u2192 EPH.
    Key point: identify the shift (+\/\u2013), apply it systematically.

    <\/strong> Example: If A=1, B=2, \u2026 Z=26, what is the code for BANK<\/strong>?
    Here, you convert letters to numbers based on position, or sometimes use arithmetic operations (sum\/difference) on these positions.

  3. Substitution Coding<\/strong>

    Here, words are replaced with symbols\/letters. Identify repeated patterns, common words, and link them to codes.

    In RRB PO, you will often see whole sentences transformed into codes\u2014your job is to match word \u2194 code by comparing common sentences.
