Today is 17th September 2025. That means less than a month left. RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam is coming to test your English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Awareness skills on 18th October 2025. Time is short. A day-wise plan matters more than anything else now. You cannot study everything randomly. You need to focus on high-weightage areas. Past years’ analysis shows where the marks lie. This blog gives you a complete plan. How much time should be given to each subject, and what should be revised? And also, which resources to use before it’s too late.

Take Free RBI Grade B Free Mock Test & Give the Right Push to Your Prep

Day-Wise Time Table for October 18 Exam

Why is this day-wise schedule Important? A clear plan saves hours. It shows you what to study, how long, and why. This timetable is based on the weightage of topics from past years. It also includes slots dedicated to the basics of Phase 2. You don’t need to follow it blindly. You may have already prepared some topics.

You’re free to adjust as per your needs. We need to balance both Phases, but Phase 1 is the immediate goal. Phase 2 cannot wait. So, use the days left smartly. How? Make mornings (4 AM to 7 AM) your heavy study slot. Keep evenings (8 PM to 10 PM) for light revision.

Here’s how to manage both.

Day-Wise Schedule (Sept 17 – Oct 17, 2025)

Date

Time Slot (4–7 AM)

Time Slot (7–8 AM)

Time Slot (8–9 PM)

Time Slot (9–10 PM)

Focus Areas

Weightage (Phase 1)

Sept 17

Quant: Data Interpretation

GA: Current Affairs

Reasoning: Puzzles

Phase 2: ESI Basics

Start strong. They are numbered, so each day matters now. A structured schedule ensures focus on high-weight topics, quick revision, and a smart balance with Phase 2. You can adjust based on your preparation level. To cover all important areas as per the past years’ analysis, you need to divide the topics between weeks.

Here’s what you need to cover every week:

Week 1 (Sept 17 to Sept 23)

This is the setup week, where you’ll have to focus on polishing your basics. Quantitative Aptitude part starts with DI, Simplification, and Number Series. Reasoning begins with Puzzles, Seating, and Coding. English builds with RC and Para Jumbles.

GA will be covered daily. In the schedule above, we’ve covered current news and banking updates. At the same time, Phase 2 also slips in quietly with ESI basics and FM notes. At the end of the week, you’ll have covered many topics and gained speed and rhythm. Take the first mock test this week.

Week 2 (Sept 24 to Sept 30)

Now, week 2 is where the grind will begin. Here, DI gets heavier with Caselets and Tables. Reasoning picks up with Syllogism, Input-Output, and Direction Sense. English stays light but steady with Cloze Tests and Error Spotting. GA expands into RBI reports, budget facts, and news on the economy. Keep tracking your performance by attempting mock tests.

Phase 2 continues with schemes and essay practice. By Sunday, you’ll have covered half of the high-weightage topics.

Week 3 (Oct 1 to Oct 7)

This week sharpens accuracy. RC sets daily for English. DI becomes tougher with mixed sets, pie charts, and case studies. Reasoning combines puzzles, logical reasoning, and inequality. Arithmetic (percentages, ratios, SI-CI) balances quant. You can check how your performance is going on by taking mock tests and checking their analysis.

GA will remain constant, and here is where the monthly CA revision starts. Then, Phase 2 gets more attention. It includes descriptive writing, notes, and FM revision. By the end, speed and accuracy must show progress. The pressure is increased now.

Week 4 (Oct 8 to Oct 14)

Now is the push phase. Start full-length RC and DI practice. Puzzles get more complex, and you will have to invest more time in Logical reasoning daily. Plus, the arithmetic, in Quants, also finds its place, where you’ll have to solve mixed questions. Then, English focuses on vocabulary and sentence structure, and the full revision of GA kicks in, including the budget, RBI circulars, and news on the economy. Keep the momentum of mock tests going this week as well.

Week 4 also gives space to Phase 2, including essay writing, and focusing on schemes and FM notes. This week separates average preparation from sharp preparation.

Week 5 (Oct 15 to Oct 17)

Week 5 is the final stretch. It is time to practice full-length mock tests daily. Also, you need to imitate exam day with timing, no interruptions, and error analysis. And, here also, GA revision dominates. Quantitative, Reasoning, and English go light. It gives more space to only mock tests and revision.

Phase 2 stays in touch with essay outlines and notes. The last day, that is Oct 17th, is calm, where you’ll have a light revision and mock test analysis.

You’ll be required to sleep early, be confident of your success, and say bye, not stress to taste success.

How to Best Use PracticeMock Resources

PracticeMock is not just about mock tests. It is your all-in-one tool. For RBI Grade B Phase 1, start with the Free Mock Test. It shows you your weak areas. Then move to sectional tests for Quant, Reasoning, and English. Each test comes with a detailed analysis. Use it to improve speed and accuracy.

For General Awareness, rely on Free Bazooka and affordable and effective PIB Sutra PDFs. They cover current affairs, government schemes, and banking updates in short, clear notes. Revise them daily.

For English, use the Descriptive Writing Course. Even Phase 1 students need strong English. Daily essay, précis, and comprehension practice will save you later in Phase 2.

For Phase 2 basics, the Foundation + Phase 2 Video & Non-Video Courses are gold. They simplify ESI and FM concepts. Even 30 minutes daily will give you an edge.

In short, and again, as we’ve been saying in every blog, don’t waste time collecting random PDFs. Stick to a single source that is easily accessible yet effective. And, where, everything is structured.

Follow the weekly study plan shared in the Telegram group. Trust the process. Keep your routine. Results will follow.

[ Click Here to join the PracticeMock Telegram Discussion Group! ]

Takeaway

Time is short, and you must act smart. A day-wise plan, which we’ve discussed above, will keep you focused. It will help you make the most of your free time by dedicating mornings to heavy study, evenings to revision, and Sundays to full mock tests. Keep in mind, the General Awareness is your biggest weapon. And, to maximize your score in Quantitative and Reasoning, you need accuracy, not random speed. Similarly, English can save your score if you do writing practice daily. Also, do not forget that the Phase 2 exam will come soon afterwards. So, give it 30 minutes daily. You should, therefore, trust structured resources, not scattered notes. Plus, sleep early and wake early to follow this plan with discipline. Success in RBI Grade B Phase 1 is not about investing more hours in your studies, but it’s about investing hours smartly. So, manage your time like a topper and get a topper’s results.

FAQs

Q1: Can I crack RBI Grade B Phase 1 with just one month left?
A: Yes. Focus on high-weightage topics. Use mornings for heavy practice. Revise GA daily. Attempt mocks every week. Accuracy matters more than hours. Smart planning beats last-minute panic.

Q2: How many mock tests should I attempt before the exam?
A: At least one full mock every Sunday. In the last two weeks, attempt two to three mocks per week. Always analyze mistakes. Update your error log. Improvement follows.

Q3: How much time should job-goers dedicate daily?
A: Minimum three hours in the morning. Two hours in the evening. Thirty minutes for Phase 2 basics. It’s not about total time, but about focused, distraction-free study.

Q4: Is it wise to start Phase 2 preparation before Phase 1?
A: Yes. With only 48 days between the two, starting Phase 2 early helps avoid panic. Just 30 minutes daily for ESI, FM, or descriptive writing is enough now.

Q5: What is the best way to revise General Awareness?
A: Revise in small chunks. Fifteen minutes every night before sleep. Use monthly PDFs like Bazooka and PIB Sutra. Regular short revision builds memory stronger than last-minute cramming.

Dear Candidates, the RBI Grade B Phase 1 Exam is just around the corner.
