Dear Candidates, the RBI Grade B Phase 1 Exam is just around the corner. Today is 17th September 2025. That means less than a month left. RBI Grade B Phase 1 exam is coming to test your English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and General Awareness skills on 18th October 2025. Time is short. A day-wise plan matters more than anything else now. You cannot study everything randomly. You need to focus on high-weightage areas. Past years’ analysis shows where the marks lie. This blog gives you a complete plan. How much time should be given to each subject, and what should be revised? And also, which resources to use before it\u2019s too late.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Take Free RBI Grade B Free Mock Test & Give the Right Push to Your Prep<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n Why is this day-wise schedule Important? A clear plan saves hours. It shows you what to study, how long, and why. This timetable is based on the weightage of topics from past years. It also includes slots dedicated to the basics of Phase 2. You don\u2019t need to follow it blindly. You may have already prepared some topics.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n You\u2019re free to adjust as per your needs. We need to balance both Phases, but Phase 1 is the immediate goal. Phase 2 cannot wait. So, use the days left smartly. How? Make mornings (4 AM to 7 AM) your heavy study slot. Keep evenings (8 PM to 10 PM) for light revision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here\u2019s how to manage both.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n You count the days left for the Phase 1 exam on your fingers. They are numbered, so each day matters now. A structured schedule ensures focus on high-weight topics, quick revision, and a smart balance with Phase 2. You can adjust based on your preparation level. To cover all important areas as per the past years’ analysis, you need to divide the topics between weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Here’s what you need to cover every week:<\/p>\n\n\n\n This is the setup week, where you’ll have to focus on polishing your basics. Quantitative Aptitude part starts with DI, Simplification, and Number Series. Reasoning begins with Puzzles, Seating, and Coding. English builds with RC and Para Jumbles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n GA will be covered daily. In the schedule above, we’ve covered current news and banking updates. At the same time, Phase 2 also slips in quietly with ESI basics and FM notes. At the end of the week, you\u2019ll have covered many topics and gained speed and rhythm. Take the first mock test this week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Now, week 2 is where the grind will begin. Here, DI gets heavier with Caselets and Tables. Reasoning picks up with Syllogism, Input-Output, and Direction Sense. English stays light but steady with Cloze Tests and Error Spotting. GA expands into RBI reports, budget facts, and news on the economy. Keep tracking your performance by attempting mock tests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Phase 2 continues with schemes and essay practice. By Sunday, you\u2019ll have covered half of the high-weightage topics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This week sharpens accuracy. RC sets daily for English. DI becomes tougher with mixed sets, pie charts, and case studies. Reasoning combines puzzles, logical reasoning, and inequality. Arithmetic (percentages, ratios, SI-CI) balances quant. You can check how your performance is going on by taking mock tests and checking their analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n GA will remain constant, and here is where the monthly CA revision starts. Then, Phase 2 gets more attention. It includes descriptive writing, notes, and FM revision. By the end, speed and accuracy must show progress. The pressure is increased now. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Now is the push phase. Start full-length RC and DI practice. Puzzles get more complex, and you will have to invest more time in Logical reasoning daily. Plus, the arithmetic, in Quants, also finds its place, where you’ll have to solve mixed questions. Then, English focuses on vocabulary and sentence structure, and the full revision of GA kicks in, including the budget, RBI circulars, and news on the economy. Keep the momentum of mock tests going this week as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Week 4 also gives space to Phase 2, including essay writing, and focusing on schemes and FM notes. This week separates average preparation from sharp preparation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Week 5 is the final stretch. It is time to practice full-length mock tests daily. Also, you need to imitate exam day with timing, no interruptions, and error analysis. And, here also, GA revision dominates. Quantitative, Reasoning, and English go light. It gives more space to only mock tests and revision. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Phase 2 stays in touch with essay outlines and notes.
