Preliminary Exam (screening test)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Main Exam (final written test)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Interview \/ Language Test (only for Officer-level exams like PO)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Preliminary Exam&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Generally Prelims exam is done to shortlist candidates for the mains exam. The exam is objective in nature and generally conducted in online mode. Usually, the exam consists of three sections, except for RRB Clerk and PO, in which the English section is not there. The other sections are English, quant and reasoning. The duration is 60 minutes. For the officer level, this stage marks 80% weightage for the final merit list (20% weightage of interview). This stage is also conducted online and is objective and subjective in nature. There are almost four sections: reasoning &amp; computer aptitude, data analysis, English, and general awareness. It is generally 20-30 minutes and is of 30-35 marks.
