A proper revision plan with the right strategy will help you boost your score. SBI PO 2025 Mains Exam Pattern <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Most of you already know the SBI PO Mains exam pattern, but what really matters is how you use it to plan your preparation. The exam has two parts \u2013 Objective Test<\/strong> (200 marks, 3 hours) and Descriptive Test<\/strong> (50 marks, 30 minutes). The Objective Test checks you in four areas \u2013 Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis & Interpretation, General Awareness\/Economy\/Banking Knowledge, and English Language<\/strong> \u2013 all with sectional timings and cut-offs. This means you cannot afford to skip or ignore any section. Wrong answers also have a penalty of 1\/4th marks<\/strong>, so accuracy is as important as speed. The Descriptive Test includes 3 tasks \u2013 one email<\/strong>, one report<\/strong>, and either a situation analysis<\/a> or precis writing<\/strong>. Many students focus only on the objective paper, but remember, the descriptive carries 50 marks<\/strong> and plays a key role in your final merit. Now, only 10 days are left<\/strong> for the SBI PO Mains exam. At this stage, don\u2019t start any new topic. Whatever you know till now, just revise it properly. Your focus should be on your strong areas<\/strong> instead of wasting time on new concepts.Give at least 10 hours a day<\/strong> if you are a full-time aspirant, because the Mains score will be added to the final merit list. In reasoning, do mixed sets of puzzle<\/a>s and seating, coding-decoding, and logical reasoning. For Quant, solve approximation, DI sets, and arithmetic word problems. In English, practice error spotting, para jumbles, and cloze tests. Continue with daily mock tests and spend enough time analyzing your errors. For descriptive writing, pick one topic each day (report, email, or precis) and write it within 25 minutes, keeping 5 minutes for proofreading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 7 to Day 9<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

These days should be about strong revision and exam-level practice<\/strong>. Do a quick revision of GA notes, finance news, and banking updates. For reasoning and quant, solve mixed sets and attempt sectional tests instead of random practice. In English, work on reading comprehension, grammar recap, and vocabulary. Each day, take one mock and analyze i<\/a>t. For descriptive, practice longer sets like writing all three questions (email, report, and situation analysis\/precis) in 30 minutes to build speed and accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Day 10<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The last day is all about light revision and staying calm<\/strong>. Go through GA highlights and important notes. Do a few light puzzle and DI questions just to stay in touch. In English, read one editorial for flow and vocabulary. Avoid any heavy mock test instead, revise past mistakes and go through your analysis once more. In SBI PO Mains, General Awareness is very important. You will get 60 questions in 45 minutes<\/strong>. This section is scoring because if you know the answer, you can mark it quickly without wasting time. Give at least 3 hours daily<\/strong> to GA.
