Are you planning to apply for EO\/AO or APFC posts in UPSC EPFO 2025?<\/strong> If yes, need to first know all about the eligibility criteria. UPSC has revealed the eligibility criteria for UPSC EPFO 2025 for this year, along with the short notice for recruitment. There are two posts: EO\/AO and APFC, and the eligibility rules are different for both. You must have a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognised university to apply online. The age limit is 30 years for EO\/AO and 35 years for APFC posts as on the last date of application (18 August 2025). UPSC has mentioned the post-wise eligibility. If you don\u2019t meet these rules, your form will get rejected. Basic UPSC EPFO Eligibility 2025<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The eligibility criteria for EPFO EO\/AO Recruitment have been shared in the official UPSC EPFO Notification. The table below shows the basic conditions that every candidate must meet to be eligible. In the next sections, we\u2019ll explain each of these points in detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UPSC EPFO Age Limit 2025 (As on 18 August 2025)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As per the UPSC EPFO Eligibility Criteria, the upper age limit is different for both posts. For APFC, the age limit is 35 years. For EO\/AO, it is 30 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Age Relaxation (Applicable for Both EO\/AO & APFC)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Candidates from reserved categories will get age relaxation in the upper age limit. This relaxation applies to both EO\/AO and APFC posts. You can check the details of age relaxation in the table below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Educational Qualification for EO\/AO and APFC<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

You must have at least a bachelor\u2019s degree in any related stream to apply for the UPSC EPFO exam. Candidates with a degree in Law, M.A. in Business Administration, a 5-year Law degree, or a PG diploma in Company Secretary, Management, Cost and Management Accounting, or Chartered Accountancy will be given preference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
