Hi friends, I cleared SBI JA this year and here is my success story below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shelly Tripathi’s Success Story<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I started preparing for bank exams in December 2020 . Though at that time i wasn’t too serious regarding my preparation . I dedicated this time more on getting to know the requirements of cracking the exam and being familiar with the syllabus . My true journey began from January 2021 . So this was my very first attempt at SBI Junior Associate . At the beginning I wasn’t even sure if i would clear prelims . But i am extremely glad to share that i’ve made it to the final list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

English Section Preparation Strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Talking about my strategy regarding English , I didn’t do anything extraordinary for it as I have good command over English . What i used to do was i would read editorials every day and comprehend each sentence and make a note of vocab and idioms\/phrases that i would come across . Also i followed Nimisha Bansal Ma’am’s special free classes of perfection batch on Unacademy as i did not have it’s subscription .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Quantitative Aptitude<\/strong> Section Preparation Strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For quants after having gone through the entire syllabus twice , i started practicing as much as i could . As we all know speed maths and D.I.s cover 70% portion in prelims and play a major role in getting good marks . I followed what we all have to which is regular and consistent practice . As a result my scores improved from just 10-15 to 25-30 . In mains ,D.I.s and various pattern questions based on Arithmetic completely take over . For that i solved a great number of Mains D.I.s and arithmetic which made me a lot more comfortable and confident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reasoning<\/strong> Section Preparation Strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For reasoning , I cleared my basics from Adda247’s youtube channel . After that i did rigorous practice , used to take sectional mocks . I kind of started loving solving reasoning questions . Now coming to puzzles and seating arrangements , I blindly followed Ankush Lamba Sir . In my opinion , he’s the master of puzzles . There was a time when i used to take 8-10 minutes in solving a basic clerk prelim level puzzle and not every puzzle would get solved . Now i can solve any prelim level puzzle in 1.5 to 2.5 min maximum . For mains too , i followed his free videos on YouTube.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Awareness Section Preparation Strategy<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I used to be very underconfident when it came to GA . But soon after starting my preparation i came across a source that suited me best i.e. Affairscloud . My strategy was to watch current day’s CA video on YouTube then revise it from PDF on CareersCloud app and attempt its quiz on the same app the next day. Besides doing this on daily basis, weekly and monthly revisions<\/a> helped a lot in sailing through.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For RRB, i prepared computer from adda’s PDF and PM mocks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes , i did follow a schedule but i kept changing it as per my convenience . Waking up early for studying was the only constant . In my schedule i would set targets for the day and complete them by the end of the day . And to be honest , there have been many days when the schedule didn’t go as planned . But the trick was to get back on track as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There were some challenges as well . One major incident that i would not term as a hurdle but rather a tragedy was that my grandfather passed away on the last day of August and i had two mains exams scheduled of RRB PO and SBI JA . The biggest challenge was to bring myself to study in that non- conducive environment . But still wanted to give my 100% without thinking about final result . So i somehow managed and tried my best. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

PracticeMock helped a lot. For pre, I used to take daily quizzes and mini mocks of PM . And for mains I relied solely on PM mocks . I would solve sectional mocks as well as full length mains mocks to boost my mains preparation . The level and the kind of questions PM provides are top-notch . Having solved such high level questions, my fear of appearing for mains started alleviating and as a result i could perform well in the real time exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I would like to say that rather than thinking about getting failed or passed , focus should be on being true to yourself , finding your shortcomings and overcoming them , doing justice with your preparation and being consistent. All these sleepless days of hardwork will make it worth it one day . And the feeling would be surreal .<\/p>\n\n\n\n
